Jeff resides in Seguin, Texas, with his wife Melissa. He was born in Seguin and graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station with a degree in Business. Jeff's home design exploration began in 1999, but the foundation for helping clients create memorable spaces began 20 years prior while he owned his own retail and design shop. He has worked multiple jobs in the design world –– from graphic designer to boutique shop owner to upholsterer to Christmas tree decorator for community friends. Community is everything to Jeff. He served on the Seguin School Board for 13 years and treasured his time working to make a difference in the lives of Seguin students. He has two daughters, Ivy and Madison, and son-in-law Dan who is married to Ivy. He's found his latest design passion creating refrigerator boxes with his 2-year-old granddaughters, Piper Scout and Isla Rose.
Annie has lived all over the world. Literally! In 2008 she left Design Associates to move to China with her husband and eventually the Czech Republic. She returned stateside in 2016 to rejoin Jeff at Design Associates. Her life experiences and exposure to new cultures has brought new dimensions to their design work. Annie graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Fine Arts, and is known to a very wide though perhaps niche audience in China for performing a song on a nationwide Chinese broadcast. Annie, her husband Aaryn, and their two daughters Piper Bea and Rosie recently renovated their historic downtown Seguin home.
